Thanks, Poppi!

There is a great country song about step fathers called "He Didn't Have To Be." It is about the choice to step into a family and join it. My dad and Zachary's Poppi made that choice a long time ago and I am so grateful for him.

Today is his birthday and we are going to celebrate by cutting down a Christmas tree and tomorrow, we'll decorate it by a fire and have cake. This is because he and my mom moved here to be with us and it is the greatest gift he could have given us. Z adores you and it is such a blessing to watch your bond grow.

Thank you for all your hard work to support us and help raise us into the people we have become, Dad. We are so glad you chose to be a part of our family!
